Rantham

Ranthambore Fort, which is a powerful fort, was built in 944 AD. It is located on the top of the hill, which is at a height of 700 feet above the surrounding plains. The fort is situated between the Vindhya plateau and Aravali hills, which is spread over 7 km geographical area. The fort has a mosque with various Hindu and Jain temples. A large variety of residential and migratory birds can be seen here, as many water bodies are present around the fort. Tourists from this fort can enjoy a spectacular view of Ranthambore National Park.
